Polo is everything but a common Swedish sport. Nonetheless is has been played for a number of years here by a small but enthusiastic group of people. Polo is an ancient sport and has been played since long before B.C. although the rules may have changed a bit. It is played in 77 countries throughout the world and was in the Olympic family until 1936. The predominant country is Argentina with England as the European dominant. I was assigned to take the photos during the annual Stockholm Polo Open last August. With players galloping at speeds up to 60km an hour, it was a real challenge. The hat parade was a lot easier!
